One of Anchor Education’s most rewarding experiences has been in the marketing of America’s Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College. The name of the zoo itself was an Anchor Education contribution to building the institution and its many exciting programs.
Located in Ventura County, Calif., America’s Teaching Zoo is the number one educator of skilled animal caregivers and trainers in the world. The Zoo’s rigorous classes and exacting standards of animal care has earned it the highest respect from animal-professionals in the motion picture industry and zoological organizations. Women and men come from every part of the United States and many foreign nations to be a part of this amazing program.
Anchor Education’s mission includes:
- Increasing the public’s awareness of America’s Teaching Zoo
- Building financial support for the Zoo’s many programs
